All in the Family: Thriving and Surviving a Family-Owned Business

Author Richard Bach once said that "The bonds that links your family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in others life. Rarely do members of one family grow under the same roof." Clearly Mr. Bach was not part of a family-owned business! Working in a family-owned business is both rewarding and trying, often at the same time.

Audiences learn:

  • To leverage the bonds of family and remove the roadblocks to growth.

  • The appropriate operational norms regardless of the size of the business and/or the family.

  • How non-family employees are impacted and why they are often the key to success.

  • Why a succession plan is important to both current and future generations.

"I discovered more about myself and my family in this 60 minutes than I have in the last ten years. Thank you! (Participant from Goodyear Tire and Rubber)
