There was a time when I ran a division, and I went in so many directions I’m surprised I didn’t make myself dizzy—although I probably did my employees.

I tackled everything at once, thinking I was making progress. But the truth? Being busy isn’t the same as making an impact.

The game-changer was identifying the highest-priority focus each day—the one (or two) actions that could triple my impact on my team and results. Not what felt urgent or needed to be done, but what truly moved the needle.

Every morning, I now ask myself: What’s the ONE highest-priority action that will create the biggest IMPACT today? Then, I lock in and execute.
