Okay. There isn’t such a thing as a Busy Bee Medal. But if there were, many people would be awarding themselves one. The Busy Bee Medal is for when you think you’ve done a lot, but in reality, you didn’t do much to move your work and life forward for One-Day Success. You didn’t take Intentional Action. You just did a bunch of stuff. The Busy Bee Medal makes a person feel good. That is until they realize they aren’t achieving anything.

Back in the day, this was called shuffling paper. The paperless office changed that. Shifting files doesn’t have the same ring. Beware of giving yourself the Busy Bee Medal.
