“Damn, I’m Good”

Jun 23, 2023

It’s okay to feel like you are really good at something. Even great. Even exceptional. When you recognize the talents you have, it helps you to continue to improve yourself and your work at higher and higher levels. Just remember, there is a difference between doing superior things and being superior.

Humility is the quality of having an appropriate view of your importance. It doesn’t mean you can’t feel damn good about your knowledge, skills, and behavior. Just don’t think you’re better than anyone else. Your work might be better than others, but our true connection with others comes from relating as equals.
